Crocodile Express Daintree River Cruises operates two cruises departing from Daintree Village “Upper Daintree River” and also from the car park near the Daintree Ferry Crossing.
There’s nothing quite like watching wildlife while cruising along the beautiful Daintree River.
See… crocodiles, birds, reptiles and butterflies in the wild. The Daintree River is the best location to see crocodiles in their natural habitat in Tropical North Queensland.
There are two different Daintree cruises – “Upper Daintree River” departing from Daintree Village (check-in at Daintree Tourist Information Centre) and a second cruise “Lower Daintree River” from the car park near the Daintree Ferry Crossing (look for the Big Croc Head). Your second cruise is free.
The guides were excellent, knowledgable and entertaining. We have never seen these creatures in the wild before and it proved to be an occasion to remember.”
“What a great day! Incredible value for two river trips – we still have to (and will) return for our second trip.”
“Our guides were able to find six crocodiles between the two cruises, including a very large male, slightly smaller female and several smaller adolescents. We were able to get close to all of them and I got fantastic photos, it was surreal to see such a foreign creature up close in the wild. Of all the things we did in Australia this was easily the best value for money of the entire trip.”
