The Daintree Ice Cream Company was established in 1993 and since then this humble little ice cream shop has become a global icon. Most of our ice creams are made from exotic fruits grown in our very own orchard, creating a unique spin on a classic desert. Ice cream is served in our famous ‘4-scoop cup’ with flavours changing daily.

The gardens are open to the public along with a Self-Guided Orchard Walk for those interest in fruit trees. A must do for anyone visiting the Daintree!

Our Philosophy is Tree to Cup

We work in harmony with our magnificent rainforest surrounds.

All our fruit is organically grown, our trees are irrigated naturally by tropical rainfall and our ice cream is made on site using the finest local ingredients.

Nature has provided us with the sweetness we need in the fresh, exotic fruit from our Tropical Fruit Orchard. This means there’s no need for syrups, packet mixes or artificial sweeteners.

We reduce, reuse and recycle at every opportunity to minimise our impact on the surrounding World Heritage Listed Daintree Rainforest.
